Woodbridge Bible Fellowship

Woodbridge Bible Fellowship exists to bring people together to worship God, through a relationship with Jesus Christ, and to equip Christ followers to grow in their faith.  

Join us Sunday mornings at 10:45 am.  We meet at Whitt Elementary School, a Wylie school located inside Sachse.  Easy directions are available under the "i am new" drop down tab above. 

If you're asking, "Somebody told me about your church family" -or- "I got an invite, but why visit this church?"

Why this church family?

1. A fresh start.  Many of us wish we had the opportunity to discover a place we can build Christian friendships and grow in godly attitudes.  In a new church family, you are able to experience the excitement of God working in fresh ways.  It's impossible to be the 'new' person everyone stares at, we're all 'new!'  Perhaps you went to church in the past and have gotten out of the habit.  Whatever the case, if it's time to jump back in, we are ready to assist you in that fresh start. 

2. Excellent children's ministry.  You will find people saying they are happy their kids learned and had fun too.  The childrens volunteers assist each child to know more about God's plan for them.  Among our volunteers, several are experts in childhood development, some are CPR trained, and all of them love Jesus Christ.  We also perform regular background checks to give us and you peace of mind.

3. Solid youth ministry.  We have a youth fellowship time every Wednesday night.  It's fun, genuine prayer and Bible study.  Youth consistently say they love the group.

4. No perfect people.  You'll meet warm people because we love each other and we'll love you too.  You don't have to 'have life together.'

5. Conviction. Woodbridge Bible Fellowship trusts in God's Word.  It is accurate, useful to study, and refreshing in its encouragement.  In grey areas of peripheral doctrine we don't require that people be twins to be a part of the family.  Yet we do hold core Christian beliefs without apologizing.

6. We love missions.  There is joy in helping others know about Jesus' love around the world.  Woodbridge Bible is unique in Wylie, Sachse, and Murphy in that every month we send 10 % of offerings given directly to missions, disaster relief, and church starting in areas of need.  This helps you to fulfill Matthew 28:19-20, which was Jesus' heart desire. 

7. Contemporary worship.  The worship atmosphere is one for glorifying God.  We purposely think through the best lyrics and songs.  Also, people dress casual or contemporary overall.  In this, we emphasize freedom in Christ, Galatians 5:1.

8.  The Bible speaks to life.  We affirm the necessity of faith in Jesus Christ for salvation from our sin that had seperated us from God.  Something great comes out of this:  God gives those who trust Him power to aim for right attitudes in all of life.  Unity, peace, and encouragement are the natural result of this commitment to the Lord first, Psalm 133:1.
