Woodbridge Bible Fellowship has a great team of four pastors who want to follow God's good plan!  These are the actual church leaders, but not listed on this page are additional teachers in youth and children's ministry.  An introduction to pastoral leadership is below:

Lead Pastor - David Keuss

Pastor David has a distinct calling to lead a team in the planting of a new church near you.  He grew up in East Plano and spent time in the Lucas, Wylie, Sachse.  He has enjoyed fishing on Lake Lavon and motorboating on Lake Ray Hubbard with friends over the years.

David is married to his excellent wife Nicole whom he met on E-harmony.  They have a two year old son Elijah.

He previously attended Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky to study preaching, theology, and counseling (MDiv).  He then studied in Fort Worth, Texas for a second masters degree at Southwestern Seminary (ThM).  David pastored another church in Texas for a number of years, but wrestled with and then felt a more specific call into the exciting role of church starting.  Pastor Dave desires to connect God's Word with its truth to your life today.  He also has experience with the culture and dig finds in the Bible lands of Israel, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, and Greece.  Pastor David brings messages at various Baptist, Bible, and Community churches around the United States.  His favorite food is BBQ.

David's main passion is being there for you as you decide to become a follower of Jesus or to grow in the Christian faith.  He oversees the church as our lead pastor.

Pastor of Small Group Ministry - Jesse Rodriguez

Jesse has a heart for helping people know Jesus Christ and applying those truths to life as well.  He is married to Beatriz who has a love for the church and ministry.  Pastor Jesse has years of experience as a pastor at several North Texas churches.  In addition, he loves new church starts, and is a veteran church planter.

Jesse graduated from The Criswell College in Dallas with a Biblical Studies degree.  Pastor Jesse is presently a graduate student at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth pursuing his MDiv degree.  He  loves encouraging people, which is evident when you're around him.  He also is known to have interesting insights on church history, practical ministry & guidance, and a love of Christian doctrine.

Pastor of Small Groups - Malcolm Butler

Pastor Malcolm loves missions work and missionaries!  This stems from his experience of having international missionaries share how to trust Jesus as Savior, while he served in the military overseas.

Malcolm is a solid resource for you in order to have tips on how to better apply truth to real life.  His background along these lines includes training in Christian leadership seminars and serving in several local churches faithfully as a servant and ordained deacon.

You'll find Malcolm and his wife Rory take the lead in supporting ministry to those who are hurting (James 1:27).  They have a genuine heart of hospitality.  If you try the church out for a few weeks you'll find that they have a habit of opening up their home for Christian fellowships and dinners.  Malcolm helps us to participate in the vital role of supporting disaster relief and international missions.  His main passion is furthering Jesus' goal of Matthew 28:19-20.

Pastor of Small Groups - Alan Ardoin

Pastor Alan has a desire to see fellowships that meet people where they are in life.  His background and part of his passion for this includes working with The Navigators, an inter-denominational Christian group, that focuses on a priority of growing in faith rather than saying a prayer and winging the Christian life.  It is part of the Navigator's teaching Christians to put value on spiritual activity such as reading one's Bible, personal prayer, and Scripture memory on a topic that you feel God is calling you to greater maturity in (Ephesians 4:2-6).  If you want to grow in your faith, Alan can help if you have questions about pursuing Christ in those practical steps along the journey.

He has also volunteered at several Bible and Baptist churches teaching through books of Scripture over the years.  Pastor Alan has led  marriage seminars, classes, and Sunday schools before coming to help start a church with Woodbridge Bible Fellowship.

Alan loves hunting.  He also has years of experience and knowledge of foundation repair in this dry, clay like ground of North Texas.  This is interesting because it naturally is a great illustration of building your life on the rock Jesus Christ (Matthew 7:24) who isn't always shifting about like clay or sand.  He and his wife Becky hosting a small group ministry at their home.  Becky is highly involved volunteering in the children's ministry and solos in the worship music ministry.

  • Why are there several pastors?  Without going into a long explanation, the Bible indicates in places like Acts 20:17-35 that there is to be a plurality of pastors in each local church family.
  • What is the Pastor/Elder team purpose?  The goal of our church leadership is to be there for you and/or your family to pursue Christ Jesus in an authentic way in the midst of today's culture (1st Timothy 1:5).  The Bible also refers to a team of pastors being available to pray for any who may be sick at a given time (James 5).
